11. Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan State |
This pick should go to either a Cornerback or to Devin Thomas, Wide Receiver, Michigan State. If McKelvin is still available I do not see how the Bills would be able to pass him up considering how much better value he is than Thomas. However, since the Ravens passed on an Offensive Lineman to take McKelvin the pick should go to Thomas.

12. Ryan Clady, Offensive Tackle, Boise State |
The Broncos will need to replace Matt Lepsis who retired this off season and Clady has top ten talent. If he falls to the Broncos they should definitely move to take him. They need a lot of help on defense but Left Tackle is one of the most important positions on the offense.

13. Derrick Harvey, DE, Florida |
The Panthers are probably targetting Derrick Harvey with this selection after he had a very impressive pro day workout. If he is off the board they will likely target either an offensive lineman or Rashard Mendenhall.
Previous Revision: Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois |
|
14. Jeff Otah, OT, Pittsburgh |
This pick should end up being an Offensive Tackle. The question is who is higher on their draft board, Otah or Chris Williams from Vanderbilt? I believe that Otah is probably higher on the draft board right now even though Williams may be a little more versatile. I do not believe they will take Mendenhall because they probably still believe in Benson, look for them to take a compliment to him in the second or third round.
Previous Revision: Chris Williams, OT, Vanderbilt |

15. Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois |
I personally believe that the Lions need to start focusing more on Defense. However, they are very thin at Runningback and should be looking to take the best RB available. That prospect is Mendenhall who could be off the board by the time the Lions pick but with this scenario I have them getting very lucky.
Previous Revision: Jonathon Stewart, RB, Oregon |
|
16. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB, TN State |
The Cardinals should look to upgrade the secondary and DRC should be the top Cornerback still available. DRC was not considered the second best Corner until the combine where he had an amazing workout. If Mendenhall is available they will look to take him off the board.
Previous Revision: Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida |
|
17. Jeff Otah, OT, Pittsburgh |
The Chiefs have picked up this pick from a trade with the Vikings, along with two 3thd rounders. Since the Chiefs were able to land Chris Long with the 5th overall selection they should look to add talent to the Offensive Line. Otah is the best available player at the position.
Previous Selection: Chris Long, DE, Virginia |
|
18. Jonathon Stewart, RB, Oregon |
The Texans have several needs but if Stewart is still on the board they shouldn't pass on him. He is currently recovering from an injury but should be available in time for training camp. He is not injury prone so the injury shouldn't hurt his draft stock too much.
Previous Revision: Jeffrey Otah, OT, Pittsburgh |
|
19. Kenny Phillips, Safety, Miami |
The Eagles may decide to go with a playmaking Wide Receiver with this pick but I believe their front office is targetting Phillips. They were eyeing Merriweather last year before the Patriots took him off the board two picks early. Phillips has shown himself to be a very intelligent player, having very good knowledge of schemes. If he is still on the board I believe the Eagles will not waste too much time taking him.
Previous Revision: Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan State |
|
20. Mike Jenkins, CB, South Florida |
The Buccaneers are likely targetting a Wide Receiver and a Cornerback. The value with this pick is in taking Mike Jenkins off the board. Before the combine he was widely considered the top player at his position and is definitely worthy of this pick.
